Want to upgrade from Yuin PK3, but don't want to use an amp!
I own all 4 buds listed above PK3 , PK2 , MX880 and MX 580. In my opinion MX 580 is far better than the rest. It has a neutral presentation, very high detail and a great soundstage. PK2 and PK3 are near but their sound is more "artificial" Sure you can get better Highs From PK2 and better Lows...- longlost

AKG K317 True Hi-Fi Performance From an Earbud
Now I wasn't expecting this much from these earbuds but WOW. Crystal clear Highs, Sublime Mids, Not overpowering but punchy Bass, Excellent seperation and clearity.... What can I say, coming from RE0 this bud is not very far away from perfection. Having everything good about RE0, it has...- longlost

ADDIEM to RE0, not impressed...
@weibby My source is a Cowon D2+ , I don't want to get an amp since I'm going to use these IEM while mobile. I also think D2+ is good enough without an amp.- longlost

ADDIEM to RE0, not impressed...
Well I wouldn't deem myself an expert but I think I can notice the little differences on these 2 IEMs. As I said, I'll try them again after the burn in but right now there is no possible way to describe the difference as DRASTIC. Believe me when I say; I unfortunately got the virus of...- longlost

ADDIEM to RE0, not impressed...
Well I've just upgraded (sort of...) from ADDIEM to RE0. I must say I'm not impressed. I still have a burn-in period yet to spend but as a first impression; RE0 is not a huge leap from ADDIEM at neither mids or highs, there is just a little difference, ADDIEM is a very clean IEM, RE0 is just...- longlost

Portable Headphones from Sennheiser
Well Shure SRH series both have a 3 meter long cable so I don't think it is "not ultra portable", they are not portable at all. HD238 would be easy enough to carry around though.- longlost

Portable Headphones from Sennheiser
Hi All, I was wondering, what would be your best suggestion for a portable headphone from sennheiser. I had my eye on HD 238 for a while but is there a better one ? Price is not an issue for this. Thanks- longlost

A matter of Sound Quality
Thanks for the posts guys, but I don't think I can get nuforce or head-direct at the moment. I think I can find apple dual drivers. Are you absolutely sure that they would sound better than akg 324 and senn. cx 95 on my cowon d2+ ? Or would that make the difference only on ipod ?- longlost

A matter of Sound Quality
Hi everyone, First I'd like to say hello to all of you, this is my first thread and it is already nice to be here. My question is about some IEMs that are available in my immediate region. Here are the contenders; - Sennheiser CX 550 or CX 95 - AKG K 324p - ULTIMATE EARS SUPER FI-3...- longlost
