Resistance to stress of the leads of electrolytic caps...

I'm talking of wet electrolyte caps. The leads seem not to tolerate the same stress of those of film caps, and that's fine with me. But how susceptible to damage caused by stress are they? For instance a little pulling/pushing of the leads, or a little twisting. Please enlighten me -...

Can anyone please draw a muting circuit for me?

I need it for one of my Super Pro's. I want it to take advantage of the dedicated pin(s) of the CS4398 (see datasheet). Can anyone please help? I'd be thankful! It can be either transistor or relay (powered with 12V) shunt muting for the L and R single-ended outputs of the DAC (placed...

    Has anyone tried the LT1678 and LT1632 rail-to-rail (3 to 36V) opamps?

I have a couple of LT1677 (single, and slower than the LT1678) which I haven't tried yet. Since they're rail to rail and have low distortion, particularly the faster LT1678, I'd like to try them in my DAC. Any opinion? They're bipolar opamps (with very low Ib) specified for audio...

    WOW try this

OPA177 as a Cmoy opamp. (the dual would be the OPA2177) I put two of them inside my evolved Cmoy (that supports even high speed bipolar opamps). It (with Jillian Welch, Soul Journey) sounds better than: TLE2082, LT1361, OPA2111, OPA627, LM6172, AD8397. All powered with 24V. It has...
