I most certainly do. They sound fantastic, if a little sibilant, with the V2. This amp is also pretty nice with HD600's, now that I have rolled in some cheap Sylvania tubes. Highly recommended!

I second this. The Lyr/Bifrost combo that I currently use with the HE-500/LCD-2 rev.2 sounds amazing with both sets of cans. Very affordable, powerful, revealing and looks great too!

Wow. I thought that the consensus up to this point was that the newer velour pads improved the SQ dramatically. Otherwise, wouldn't there be a lot of criticism regarding the presentation of the newer HE-500's with newer pads. Hmmm...

I can wholeheartedly recommend the Lyr for the HE-500's. It is an incredible amp for the price and pairs equally-well with the slightly more-efficient LCD-2's, imho. Throw a Schiit Bifrost into the mix and you should be rather satisfied with this most-affordable of mid-to-high-end rigs.

It is excellent with my LCD-2 rev.2's (using Gold Lions, primarily) and I expect that it would be also very good with the earlier version LCD-2's.
