[REVIEW] Beyerdynamic XP Series: Beyer Storm the Budget Market!
I'm not an expert, I've only had a Sennheiser CX300, a Philips 9850 and my lovely Hippo VB. Since now, I like the presentation, highs are better than in the Hippo, but I'm not very satisfied about sub-bass and mid-bass region. The first one was better in the Hippo by far: more natural, more...- SonOfFree

[REVIEW] Beyerdynamic XP Series: Beyer Storm the Budget Market!
Finally my XP3 arrived! So I think I'm the only Italian with this IEM (and one of the few European). Now it's time for burn-in, they sound a little bit muddy out of the box, but this is normal.- SonOfFree

[REVIEW] Beyerdynamic XP Series: Beyer Storm the Budget Market!
XP3 sound perfect! Sometimes my Hippo VB offered too much basses, but I really don't want to buy a pair of IEM without good sub-bass. Thank you for the suggestion, I think I'll give a try.- SonOfFree

Swimsonny, how are the XP3 in comparison with Hippo VB? I loved their sub-bass, but they've just broken. Could you compare these with Yamaha EPH-100 too?- SonOfFree

Is Etymotic mc5 the best isolating IEM with some bass unser 100€?
Hello, I'm looking for a good pair of IEM with excellent isolation under 100€. Now, I had a pair of Philips 9850 but I didn't like their sound, no basses at all and close soundstage (IMHO) and a Hippo VB that I love but the isolation is quite poor. I found that the mc5 have dynamic drivers, so...- SonOfFree

Best IEM for AC/DC and Led Zeppelin under 100$
So, my problem: I own a pair of philips 9850 and a hippo VB. I can say that i'm very happy with my hippo, but they sound too much "relaxing" when i listen to my favourite bands, acdc and led zeppelin. On the other side, philips (that lack of bass and sub-bass) are very agressive with elettic...- SonOfFree

DAC with SDHC reader
Hi, it's my first time here; I'm looking for something like a DAC/amp that can read SDHC. I'm not searching an intere Hi-Fi system, only a compact "thing" that can read mp3 or flac from the card and make sound well my headphones. If it has a usb to plug my pc, it will be fantastic. Is it...- SonOfFree
