I'd recommend ordering a pack of tips for the Shure E2c's if you get sick of buying Comply tips. They're supposedly the second best tips that fit the NE-7's.

Doesn't seem like anyone can. If you dig around you can compare your headphones with other headphones and from there compare those to one of the more current headphones that are out now. Just buy the Ne-7m's they sound better than just about any other iem under $100. If you don't like them...

Yeah I wouldn't worry about the Custom 1's. If you do some digging there's not too much fanfare for the Custom 1's when compared to similarly priced iems. Klipsch's upcoming headphones seem intriguing .

After reading the "How to clean Comply's" thread apparently they can be removed from some headphones. So in general, what methods are there to remove the Comply from your headphones without damaging the tips.

The NE-7m's mic really isn't much of an issue. If you don't need it just don't use it. The mic's size is really no longer than a large splitter or a small volume control.

I sent nuforce an email and they said they are expecting a large shipment in on the 12th and you can begin placing your order for them tomorrow (10th).
