This Schiit is Bananas! $99 Schiit Magni Amp and $99 Modi DAC
Quote: Good to know! I was actually doing a little more research yesterday right after I posted and a review stated that the actual sound difference in the schiit products is in the dacs. Although that was between the M&M series and the Bifrost/Asguard. I'm going to surmise that it...- Aiyo

I just ordered the westone w2! Will I be happy with them
Tips and insertion really affect the sound of this IEM. Deeper insertion is ideal for the best sound. In my personal opinion, I find them a bit lacking in the treble. Across the range, it feels as if it is holding back, so the presentation is a bit recessed. It also lacks in bass. Oh wait...- Aiyo

1964 Ears
I'm in need of a mic for my phone but still want to use my quads. Do any of you know where I could find a westone cable with a mic? I looked into the EPICS MIC cable, but apparently the microphone on it lets in a lot of BG noise and is pure crap. Does anyone make custom cables with mics?- Aiyo

Cypher Labs AlgoRhythm Solo
I have a question or two. Basically I was looking at the Cypher Labs AlgoRhythm Solo + Rx Mk2 Amp and an iBasso D6. I am in need of an amp and a dac because I'm running nice headphones on a fiio E5 or straight out my sources. These are my primary 2 choices. For the AlgoRhythm Solo...- Aiyo

The Apple diyMod: My Take on the Famous iMod [56k killer] Featuring 3G, 4G, 5G and nano 1G!
I'm finally getting around to modding me 5Gen Video. I was wondering, looking at the tutorials for it, if I were to put the caps on the inside, where/what do i solder them to? would it be like this? also, i've heard that removing the caps/inductors doesn't do too much. should or should it not...- Aiyo
