Reviews on Ultimate Ears 500vi and 600vi?
Thanks for the reviews. Just wanted to say that I finally bought the 500vi. I can't compare with the 600vi (or SuperFi 5vi) since I haven't listened to them personally. But the bass on the 500vi is *much* better than the bass on the UE 700. In fact, I'm wondering if there's a problem with my...- tripleflange

Reviews on Ultimate Ears 500vi and 600vi?
I should say that both my mom and my sister have the SuperFi 5vi. I figure the 600vi is basically the same. Mainly wondering if anyone has compared it with the 500vi. @50an6xy06r6n bummer to hear about the cord. Both my mom's 5vi and my dad's 700 got sent back after a couple months due...- tripleflange

Reviews on Ultimate Ears 500vi and 600vi?
I can't find many reviews on the 500vi and 600vi. Is anyone using either of these? I'm guessing the 600vi is supposed to have better audio because of the top-fire armature? And presumably the 500vi doesn't stick out from your ears as much and might have a better cord?- tripleflange

NE-7M without microphone?
What's the closest thing to an NE-7M without the microphone? Are many of you out there using the NE-7M even though you don't have a phone? I was thinking of using it with a Sansa Clip and it bugs me to have a piece of plastic hanging there that won't do anything (or will it)? I'd go with the...- tripleflange

ETYMOTIC new tips - A Silent Surprise
I tried the Glider tips this week. It's like sticking a marble in my ear. The tip is so big it only goes in a little bit (and even then it's uncomfortable) and they make the ends of my hf5 stick out. Seal wasn't very good either- definitely not as good as the black foam. But I'm grateful to ER...- tripleflange

alternative foam tips for Etymotic hf5?
Sweet, I'll give the glider tips a shot (I assume the top of the mushroom goes in head first?) Thanks!- tripleflange

alternative foam tips for Etymotic hf5?
Bummer, thanks for the reply. That's kind of what I was thinking- the tube is pretty long on the hf5. @boomy- I tried out the triple flange but it doesn't seem to give much isolation and I'm desperate for every last db I can get...- tripleflange

alternative foam tips for Etymotic hf5?
Hey guys, I've read all the posts I can find about foam tips but I'm not clear if anything other than the foam tips that ship with the hf5 will fit? E.g. will the Shure black olives fit the hf5? Any of the Comply? And would it be a perfect fit or would only part (or too much) of the sound tube...- tripleflange
