Creative Outlier Air - personal impressions
I'm returning it. Connection Connection quality is good, video delay is not great but semi-tolerable, maybe a bit over or under a second. This is on a iPhone X. General Comes with just 2 pairs of silicone tips. The push button is semi-painful if you need to use it a lot but it's not awful. The...- FlyPenFly

RHA TrueConnect vs B&O E8
Tested on iPhone X. Bose Soundsport Free is still the best sounding for music and spoken word. I listen to a lot of podcasts and audiobooks. There is almost no sibilance with the S sounds which I am very sensitive to. Unfortunately, I went on this quest because I can't stand the complete lack...- FlyPenFly

RHA TrueConnect vs B&O E8
Both arriving today, curious what people's thoughts are on how they sound. I have the Bose Soundsport Free and Bragi The Headphone as a basis of comparison.- FlyPenFly

Sony MDR-1000X
I have an iPad, an iPhone, and a MacBook Pro. Sometimes I watch movies on the iPad in the plane and want to use my Bose or on the MacBook. Sometimes when I travel with my wife, she wants to borrow my QC35. Having to re-pair for each use scenario is terrible.- FlyPenFly

Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
For people having Firmware Update problems, try turning off WIFI and using just your normal data connection. Worked for me.- FlyPenFly

Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
Sounds great on mine, no rattling. I did run a pink noise break in for a few hours though when I got it.- FlyPenFly

Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
I'm sure the QC50 will be BT5 enabled :) Even just running SBC, I can't say there's a noticeable sound quality difference once ANC is activated between BT and wired.- FlyPenFly

Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
At least so far, I haven't noticed any drops or skips. I have it connected to an iPhone 6s Plus, a 12.1 inch iPad Pro, and a Macbook Pro 15. Usually all at the same time.- FlyPenFly

Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
I think the Parrot Zik 2.0 are the only headphones that have close to the level of active noise cancellation of the last generation of QC25. Everyone else is at first generations of Bose headphones like the QC1. My coworker has the QC25 and compared to the QC35, Bose made some significant...- FlyPenFly

Good All Around for Cubicle around 100?
I need a decent pair of headphones. Source will just be Spotify on high quality. Music is very eclectic from classical/instrumentals to things like Girl Talk and Hood Internet. Needs to be closed so that I don't annoy people around me. It will be powered from a Macbook Retina 15, latest...- FlyPenFly

Anyone make a thin short iPhone plug for audio 3.5mm?
The biggest failure point among all the high end earphones + controls (Klipsch X10i, Phonak Audeo, etc) has been the plug to plug in my iphone. They always seem to eventually fail from use. EIther they get bent in my pocket or the way it sits in my pocket plugged in or constant in and out...- FlyPenFly

Best iPhone 4 Full Control Earphones under 100$?

How do the old Shure E4C's compare to the modern IEMs?
I found my old pair of E4Cs and have been listening to them a bit. I normally listen to Nuforce NE-7M and the Audeo PFE's. To be honest, I think the sound better than both although the PFE has a bit better upper end and feel faster, the E4Cs seem to beat them completely in mid range and upper to...- FlyPenFly

TIRED OF MY EARPHONES BREAKING!! (Nuforce and Audeo PFE)
The PFE I have now are the newest version. They sounds awesome and I love it if it weren't for that the buttons don't work reliably anymore. I have to adjust the connector to the iPhone for it to take commands sometimes. I know it's not the iPhone as other phones work fine. After use, I roll...- FlyPenFly

TIRED OF MY EARPHONES BREAKING!! (Nuforce and Audeo PFE)
I am sick and tired of sending in the PFE and Nuforce NE-7m for repairs. I am not especially hard on earphones than normal use. My old Shures have lasted years to much more abuse than these pathetic phones breaking in a month or two. Either a button failure or plug being cheap and cutting...- FlyPenFly
