Ety 4 P -> B adapter
Has anyone thought about attempting a p->b adapter for their etys? I was thinking it could be possible to approximate the B's response for binaural recordings by changing the values of the two resistors and capacitor to accomodate for the extra 24 ohms resistance in the P, but have no idea...- beats unbeaten

VIA EnvyHT24-S max rates
After reading a thread at hydrogenaudio and seeing the page referenced therein makes me think the Wolfson DAC on the Chaintech AV-710, Mad Dog (Entertainer?) etc. aren't actually getting 24bit 192 khz for the hi-res analog out but 20 bit 48 khz sound, or perhaps 24/96. conditioning electrolytic capacitors
I read somewhere in a DIY power supply guide that electrolytic caps should be "conditioned" once a year or so to increase longevity and stabilize performance. It was mentioned that such a practice was commmonplace in audio gear before disposable electronics became mainstream. IIRC, conditioning...- beats unbeaten
