just got my hd 598 +antlion mod mic+asus xonar stx running it on 64-300 ohms. I heard it sounds better running it on higher ohms.   Was wondering if there's somewhere i can buy just soft headband part? so if mine starts deteriorating from massive use i can just replace that part.

I'm trying to figure out which headphones is best for gaming and watching movies. I mostly watch action movies and play games like csgo, bf4, LoL, and etc.   Im stuck between which headphones to get. I see alot of people leaning to hd598 over the m50x for better gaming and don't know why...

Planning to get a new sound card for the hd598. Is the asus xonar stx still the best sound card to get for ~100used ?

i think it needs to be burnt in i have to wait till my analog wires to arrive first should be here this thurs b4 i give a judgement but its slightly better than my z5500. Right now im using a weak digital sound. i wonder how many watts my system is if that even matters..   so yea. 

ah hooked it up using my z 5500 18 guage speaker cables but i ordered some 16 guage cables. right now im running optical and it sounds decent for a old recevier =]

yea i put it up on craigslist for like 200 got not hits yet.      i guess with this setup.. later down the road i could buy two bookshelf speakers to replace my front ones... i could then use my front ones for my rear speakers giving me 7.1 surround. 

ah well i got.. a used vsx-80txv i think mine is a older model right?  i got it for.. 100 today =]  so.. the power amps on these are awesome huh? yea it doesnt have outstanding digital but im sure its better than my old z5500's right? I also got the MIC for it too so it auto adjusts..   ...

oh lol the banana plugs i decided to go for closed banana plugs.   well my sound card the port is center/sub .. so i figure getting a 3.5 split to 2 rca in 15 feet would work k awesome!

The ones i see are just sooo damn expensive $500+. I think I will just stick with waht i have optical is good if theres one for liek 200-250 maybe do u know of any? even on ebay.. help! i will refuse the receiver tm.. if i could find 1. If theres a higher model that has a better dac i would do it.
