Toronto Meet - Sunday March 6th
Pavel, just curious, did you make that DIY cable for the raffle last time? I wonder if anyone has any bulk cables and connectors? I'd like to make a few of my own cables for fun, and would be nice to buy local or group buy than shipping from the U.S for a measly part. -

I am in! Pavel thanks again for the DIY alien dac from last time. Charliex: I am actually interested in that little dot you have. I hope peter is coming, last time he had a diy tube amp that was also very pleasant sounding. -

Hey everyone, First off I'm extremely thankful to Pavel(fallen angel?) for getting the space and organizing. Thanks for building that DAC and so generously donating it to raffle off(which I won). Also I'm really thankful to Charliex for offering to buy it to help fund my future pair of...- twilightrevenant

emu 0404 analog or digital?
My dad wants some surround sound so I bought him a logitech z 5500 so he can stick it onto his emu. I was wondering if I should use the analog outputs or go digital and let the dolby/dts decoder on the logitech to do its job for me. Any ideas?- twilightrevenant

Turn a battery powered Cmoy into a DC powered one...
How do I go about doing this? I didnt make the cmoy but I know how to solder a little. The cmoy is in a mint tin can, currently powered by two 9v batteries. I know I have to get a power supply, the question is which and how. Thanks a bunch.- twilightrevenant

How good are Stax headphones?
here's a better analogy: what your doing is like buying a puny little honda civics and shoving a tank turbine inside it. sure the engine is nice and strong but all the other parts of the setup renders the engine useless. good headphones + good amp + good source + good cabling = good sound...- twilightrevenant
