I hooked up my D Zero to an iPad via USB and got a warning that it uses too much power.  I shut down and restarted my iPad and voila, it works. The orange light goes on  

I got an Ibasso D zero and hooked it up to my iPad. At first I got a warning that it uses too much power. I restarted my iPad and voila it works. The orange light is on showing it is going through usb

Just got dr bots t3 USB hub and connected it to my Udac-Houston, we have liftoff. It works.

RHW's suggestion about a powered usb hub like dr bott got me thinking. I rummaged around and found an old 6v powered hub and connected it to ipad and udac and voila-it works. Now to find something smaller

yes, Under the OS3.2 that came Ipad. I am not happy

My udac was working fine with the Ipad os 3.2, Then I updated to OS 4.2 and now my udac does NOT work.The message says it takes too much power
