    Ultrasone Edition 8

Anyone? No one? too bad.   I was also wondering how hard it was to replace the cable on the older models. The pre Romeo and Julia versions? I can't really find a good answer to if its easy to do or doable at all.

Ah well im going from the built in Headphone amp in my Asus Phoebus to the Burson HA-160 so i guess it will be a nice step up regardless of the even "better" options out there. Also got a great deal on the Burson and the b22 is way out of my price range.

Ok guys! i have done some homework and am narrowing down on the stuff i wanna buy. I don't have a very big budget but let me start by saying i own the d7000 since about two weeks. I have been reading around and i was thinking of getting a bifrost as a dac. After that i went looking for an amp to...

The Phoebus is an Asus soundcard. Ive been searching the forums and also through the thread mentioned by Pudu and you. Nearby i can get a SX 550 for about 35 euros, a Marantz 2216b for about 60 and a Pioneer SA-7500 for about 80 euros. So now i just have to find out wich one would suit me...

Ok that sounds good! I'm not in a rush so that's great. Big practical problem then is how i get my phoebus to output to an older receiver, wich means i need a dac.  Very new to this so if you have any threads i can dive into on this matter so i can educate myself. Also i have no idea what a...

Thanks for all the advice guys you have been amazingly helpful. I picked it up yesterday and i have to say i am loving the full bodied sound these headphones produce.       Curious about that aswell, cause i like the sound of them being really comfortable.    Also, i was thinking of maybe getting one of those Lawton Audio lvl 1 DIY kits in the future but has anyone had any experience with putting the padding into the cups or would you guys advice against that...

Now that ill soon have the D7000 i wanna make sure im doing stuff right. So another question. I currently listen to most of my music (and play games) on my pc. I have Asus Phoebus soundcard wich has a built in headphone amp. I currently use it to power my 250 Ohm Dt 990 and its performing great...

Yes im not US based though. That means the shipping costs would be tremendous. I did see the angle pads and was thinking about adding those later. Going to listen to vanilla D7k first haha. Quite a step up in price from my Dt990.
