When I say ridiculous, I don't mean that in a negative way. At first glance they look like something you wouldn't want to leave the house with due to their size and openness. I personally don't like the aesthetics of the design, but to me that doesn't matter to much in looking for a pair of...

I'm certainly willing to consider closed, although both of those open options are a bit out of my price range, unless I were to look into the closed version of the Ad900 (the A900,which for some reason is cheaper on Amazon), but I've heard it lacks any type of low end.      Sadly I haven't...

Quote: Hmm maybe the HD25-II isn't for me then. The HD598 is right in my price range, but I'm looking for something closed, with a bigger soundstage (than the SR80i). The other closed headphone I had in mind was the ATH-M50. Perhaps that would suit my wants/needs better?

Anyone here owned both the Grado SR80i and the hd25-1?    Currently have the SR80is and wondering if they're a good upgrade as I'm looking at a pair of closed headphones this time.

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum

Can anyone provide some quick input?    I currently have a pair of SR80is and run them unamped and use them indoors and outdoors (I know). I'm looking to get something closed (for the outdoors) and something that doesn't give me that Grado fatigue that plagues me and the SR80is (as I can't...

Westone owners, Preferably of the 1, 2, or 3 (Tips ?)

I ended up cutting the base of my tri flanges and they fit a ton better. The isolation is really good too, as I noticed that "bone phonics" haha

Westone owners, Preferably of the 1, 2, or 3 (Tips ?)

I just got a pair of Westone 1s today and am really liking the greyish one's. I don't really know what to call them, and after that I like the foamies and the triple flanges. I didn't really like the clear ones but I think I need to give a smaller size of them a whirl.

    Nixon Wire 10mm

I bought a pair of the 8mm with the mic. First the mic/button acted like it was being pressed all the time, constantly pausing and playing the music. I gave them to my roommate. In the two weeks he's had them, one of the nixon logos fell off, and now apparently tapping on the wire causes the...
