The more I listen to these, I notice the bass less and less. Whats a good way to increase the quantity slightly?

I can't believe people still buy into the scam of expensive headphone cables. 

Can anyone share some equalizer apo presets? I'm mainly concerned about treble spikes as they can be too grating sometimes.

The ELACs are good for home theater (that bass) but for near field JBLs are better.

You are not going to find anything close to the quality of LSR305 for $300, especially if you go passive and need a separate amp.

They're monitors so made to have great clarity and soundstage. Very neutral and the bass is not muddy, very tight. The trim controls on the back are +/-2dB so not much difference. Honestly they quite easily blow away all headphones I've heard under $500.

Consider LSR305 or 308, they sound fantastic. Flat, cheap, and has a waveguide that makes a huge sweet spot.

DT880s have always been ear rape to me, treble is just too much.

How would SRS-2170 compare to hifiman HE-400i, since I can get them for about the same price? 

Is there a quality difference between Mitsubishi Hi-uni pencils and their 2mm uni leads? Because the leads are quite a bit cheaper and I don't need to smell that cedar.

I got my galaxy S3 a couple weeks ago but the audio quality is terrible. Whenever I play music I hear random noise, its never clear. Especially apparent in lower volumes. Is something wrong with mine or do all S3s suffer this?

I use shure olive in small size right now, what size star tip would be the best for me?
