Sennheiser HD650 for Digital Piano
This thread is to advise anybody looking for high end digital piano headphones. Iin my experience on a Clavinova CLP 120 the HD650s are absolutely perfect. The tone is very warm, round, fat, and lush; notes sound full and satisfying, and to some extent the piano sounds as if it is infront...- tarquin1234

Ultrasone Pro 900 or Sennheiser HD 650
I have both headphones, and they are totally different. The Pro 900s are quite airy and light, whilst also having very powerful bass. To describe the sound signature: the bass is subwoofer like but also very detailed, and the trebles extend to the very highest frequencies and are very...- tarquin1234

What sort of music do you listen to with the 900s member1982? And did you Kees mod, and if so did you notice any difference? Quote:- tarquin1234

Likewise, I will be interested to hear how your impressions compare to mine. Unfortunately your music preferences are almost entirely different to mine, so direct comparisons less useful. I am into some rock/metal though so I'll give that a try. Quote:- tarquin1234

I think and hope you are probably right. I have to have the volume at maximum for a satisfactory volume, which means if I want to listen loud I just can't; whereas the cheapo headset that sounds better can go very loud. The headphones hopefuly just need more juice, and I have a Matrix M-Stage...- tarquin1234

Hi. I don't understand this sentence, please rephrase! I have tried on the digi-piano, check the second paragraph under the entry for yesterday's date. Yeah I would like to remedy the problems and I welcome any help! But I haven't given up or anything, I know headphones of this caliber require...- tarquin1234

mVa or watt consumption of an external DAC?
Thanks Region2. Though the information wasn't in the manual I have found that the max output of the Astrodyne PSU is 44watts, so I will go for 100watt. Thanks -
