E-Mu Teak 3.5mm to 6.25mm Adapter Replacement
Hey, problem is those threads are part of the length of the 3.5mm jack, so without the right threaded adapter, it won't plug in all the way. -
E-Mu Teak 3.5mm to 6.25mm Adapter Replacement
Hey guys, simple question (hopefully). I have an E-Mu Teak with fixed cables, and I lost the original 3.5mm to 6.25mm adapter. It has a screw down portion, and I tried to buy an adapter with threads, but they were the wrong size. Can anyone let me know where I can get an adapter? I think it's...- SanguineDrone

Chinese IEM recommendation, ~$50
Hmmm I'm taking a look, and it seems like the type I might like, but they're in much lower price bracket than my VC02s, which I thought were a pretty decent buy at the $35 I paid for them. They're now like $45 or $50 I think. Are they better?- SanguineDrone

Havi B3 looks okay, I'll take a look and try to find some, although it looks a little big, they might not fit too comfortably for me.- SanguineDrone

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (Headphones, IEMs, Amps, DACs)
Hello, I'm in Beijing right now and I'm wondering if there are any good places to try/look at IEMs. I'm hoping I can find some Chinese IEMs with excellent bang for the buck ratios. Right now I'm using Vsonic VC02s, but I'm looking for something similar, but a little better. I made a...- SanguineDrone

Chinese IEM recommendation, ~$50
Hello, I'm currently in China for a bit and I was wondering about any Chinese brand IEMs that I could pick up here for a little cheaper than in the US, or just try them out somewhere. I'm looking at somewhere around $~50. I won't be using an amp or anything, just my laptop, phone, or Xonar...- SanguineDrone

VSONIC VC02 Thread
Done ... am still hoping someone on this thread shows up with suggestions. I kind of suspect that at least a few people have simply lost a VC02 driver and have a useless cable laying around.- SanguineDrone

VSONIC VC02 Thread
Mainly what I'm wondering is if anyone has been able to open up the removable cable housing? I'd imagine that if that opens up I'd just cut off the first couple CM of the wire next to it (that's the problem piece) and solder up the rest of the cable. Also just a page or two ago I read that...- SanguineDrone

bump I isolated exactly where the cable has gone bad, it's right below where it connects to the driver, about a cm. Not sure if that helps.- SanguineDrone

VSONIC VC02 Thread
Hello, it's been a little over a year but it looks like the cable on my VC02 is broken. One side almost never works for either driver, and the other side works fine with both drivers. I also tried playback after switching the stereo output, and it's still the same side so it's not the 3.5mm...- SanguineDrone
