I am currently looking at this headphone as a replacement for my Grado PS500 can anyone who is familiar with both cans provide a comparison between the two?

In my experience the Fiio E17 and Fiio X3 are quite similar. The x5 should be a step above both although I have not heard it yet so take my message with a grain of salt

Your welcome and sorry that its nothing new. I searched "release date" with the search feature at the bottom and got nothing so thought I should post it.

I googled a release date for the X3 and came up with this http://www.mingo-hmw.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=155579 The facebook link seems legit but I didn't find any mention of the march release date. Either way has some nice info on it that might be worth checking out.
