looking for 1000$ price range headphone recommendations
I had 3 pairs of headphone tried on the portable gear(imod + predator), they were Sony CD3000, Sen HD650, AT a900ti, which I prefer the CD3000 the most, and I would recomand you too. CD 3000 is famous of being easy driven which is very important for portable gear. a900ti was also good, this pair...- qqbingbing

Cowon: X5L vs i7
I have the X5L but I do not like it at all compared to Kenwood D9EC, TOSHIBA F60. I will say it's the same level as the sony A808, maybe even slightly. The sound is too warm for me and not airy, soundstage is normal. I was expecting more from it but it disapointed me. Just my personal opinion.- qqbingbing

As I've never tried any Grados, I am panning to get one pair among these three. Could any one list the differences of them? Cheers- qqbingbing

rockbox player
I have an F60 player rockboxed. It sounds great much better than my IPOD vedio and X5L. The sound is as clear as the IPOD vedio but with more details and more bass. The screen is nice and the battery is reasonable. What's more, it's got a dock station with a lineout(but not sure about the...- qqbingbing

Yes, they do have quite a lot hiss especially for the old one such as A7, but for D9 you really should not hear much hiss.- qqbingbing

The only thing I care about is the SQ, they are quite ugly but still cool to me.- qqbingbing
