Colorfly C4 Use like Dac for Computer
Did you even read my post? Or the one I was answering? I never said anything about output, because that isn't relevant to the question in the original post. It wouldn't hurt you to do some reading yourself...- Pritolus

Colorfly C4 Use like Dac for Computer
The C4 only takes audio in via SPDIF. So you will either need a soundcard with SPDIF output (if you plan to use your C4 a lot with a stationary computer I would recommend looking into getting a new soundcard if your current one doesn't have an SPDIF output) or a USB to SPDIF converter. There are...- Pritolus

What Are You Listening To Right Now?
John Williams and London Voices - Duel of the Fates So epic! Moved on to this, the Raiders march: I'm having a John Williams craving today -

Thanks! I did have a good spot, and there was even room to push closer to the stage. The venue was relatively small, but crowded. I just stumbled across this whilst roaming YouTube: I've always thought metal could do with more classical instruments -

Nokia Lumia 1020. I love the hell out of that thing The concert was great, and speaking of vinyl my friend got himself one of the last signed copies of the Infestissumam yellow vinyl limited edition LPs. I was very pleased with this clip as well -

I know how you feel. I don't have a vinyl rig because of the costs. Not because I don't think it'll be worth it, but because I'm afraid I'll spend all my spare cash on records and thus never again have the money to upgrade my equipment As it is I don't listen to enough music at home, and I... -

One of seven songs I recorded at the concert yesterday! I must say the audio is more than acceptable, considering it was recorded with my phone Opinions? -

My signature really says it all, I think. At home I use my excellent Denon AH-D7000 powered by a Woo Audio WA6, with a Hegel HD11 DAC as source. Sounds magnificent! My speaker setup is also good for metal: JBL LS80 floorspeakers bi-amped with a Harman Kardon AVR 355 surround reciever and an... -

It's very lazy drumming, isn't it? I guess it's a go-to solution when the drummer can't think of something better or is having trouble making two parts of a song fit together. The biggest problem I have with Blast Beats isn't the drumming itself, but how it affects the other instruments and... -

Then extreme metal isn't for me. I absolutely detest that kind of drumming. -
Lets Talk Metal
Didn't like the drumming. It's something I've been noticing more and more lately, and something just about every metal band I've heard does from time to time. It's when the drummer just alternates between the bass and sharp drums as fast as he can, it just ruins the flow in the music for me... -

I use my Denon AH-D7000 for metal listening and I love them. I know Redcarmoose has also got a pair. Something I learned a while back (after the Denon AH-Dx000 seried was discontinued) is that this series of headphones (the D2k, D5k and D7k) were made by Fostex for Denon. Now that the series... -

I guess to me the word "song" refers to lyrics. A melody without lyrics is not a song, because it doesn't contain singing. So to me, songwriting means writing lyrics. Creating the melodies and writing music for instruments would be composing. That's why I was confused. -

How can an instrumental tune have good songwriting? Either that makes no sense, or I'm just being very dense. -

Loving it! Hearing metal in DR13 is giving me a very hard time understanding how anyone would ever apply dynamic range compression to something that sounded this good to begin with. I have lots of metal I like, but don't listen to very often because the SQ is just too sucky. Stone Sour is...
