    I have been given a box of valves by a neighbour, Mostly TV stuff but there were a couple of Brimar 6AM6 (cv138) (these give really solid Bass), some Zaerix 12au7's , some Marconi ECC804 (6/30l2) and a pair of Mullard E88CC 's both the latter look to be pin compatable with the 6N6 power tubes...

    I am looking at buying a Cheapish DAC to feed my Little Dot MKII and I keep being drawn to looking at the NG94 MKII PCM1794 USB&SPDIF DAC+Headphone Amplifier AMP on ebay . Mainly as it's got USB, Coaxial (BNC/RCA), Optical and the DAC module is on a seperate board and so might have upgrade...

    Just Wondering ... Has anybody tried ecc804 (6/30L2) as the power tube ? the pinout for the Mazda tubes looks the same as the 6H6P but looking at the specs the anode current might be less as is the mutual conductance ...
