Anyone using these with sensitive IEMs? I'm considering the stack to drive my JH-16s in the office, but I'm worried about there being background hiss.

Why not consider the Schiit Magni/Modi combo and just use USB out? Is there something that is constraining you to use your SPDIF out from the sound card?

Just got my 16's from FedEx a bit ago. These things are absolutely incredible. I've never heard bass so clean particularly at such a low volume level. With what I've listened to so far I'd have to say they're perfectly balanced for my taste. I'll post more details once I get some more listening...

I ended up waiting a lot longer than I had originally planned, but I've finally ordered some 16's. They should be here in the next couple of weeks and I'll update with my impressions once they arrive. Can't wait to get my hands (ears?) on these things.

Thanks for all of the replies. I think at this point, since they are my first custom IEM, I'm going to go with the JH5. If i find that I'm really craving a lot more then maybe one day I'll upgrade to the 16s. I'll try to post some thoughts about them once they're in my hands.
