80 dB? Please review your numbers. Tube: I have that tube in the Aune T1. The Aune is to bright for me so I have also searched for a tube to roll off the treble. Don't have a Mullard. Several Amperex and the upgraded stock are all bright in it. The Russian tubes have a little more bottom end...

I didn't pull the trigger when the Aurvana 3 was <$50. I was skeptical about the sound signature and waited. Haven't seen them near that price for a month or more.
