That is worrying. The second case of that happening I've seen here.

It seems that the drivers default to 48K Hz in the playback settings for Mimby? Anyone else have this problem?      

Just did some experimenting on a Mac with Bootcamp.   This is on the same machine, the variable being different operating systems only.   Spotify 44.1 KHz in Windows (USB) through Directsound -> Occasional and noticeable clicks   Spotify 44.1 KHz in OS X (USB)  -> Pristine sound, zero...

    You don't have to re-rip your CDs. You could perhaps download a trial of JRiver and try playing back via ASIO. You won't hear these clicks. The problem is, I mainly use Spotify which uses Directsound, so it doesn't play nice with the Mojo. I hope someone at Chord can kindly take another...

    The thing is, I never get clicks running on WASAPI or ASIO, only Directsound. I listened to Call Off the Search by Katie Melua and did hear clicks on Spotify through DirectSound but not on Tidal through WASAPI. However when i upsample to 96K through DirectSound, the clicks are gone.

    Try upsampling to 96K in windows directsound options. Cleared the clicks for me somehow. I found that the issue is with directsound only in 44.1 khz.

Misinformation? I actually bothered taking a photo to prove that there has been a slight shell redesign. Why not you look at currawong's and hisoundfi's pictures of the earlier version of the Andromeda and draw your conclusions from there.

    I have the Andromeda on hand and the picture above is mine. I have compared it to the pictures posted by KB, ExpatInJapan and Currawong and I have discovered these 2 new facets on the shell.

Believe it or not I prefer the sound of the Andromeda directly out of my iPhone 6S Plus than from a Mojo. Due to the sensitivity of these I get some electronic noise from the phone and a little hiss from the Mojo, but I'm happy to leave the Mojo at home with the Andromedas!

Been listening to them for a good 4 hours straight. Using spiral dot tips with these and shallow insertion. The sharp edges of the screw are a little bothersome but they don't really touch any part of my ears when worn.     The imaging ability of the Andromeda is unsurpassed in a universal...

It seems that people who ordered direct from CA have got their Andromedas shipped, even if they had ordered as recently as early July. Had mine pre-ordered from a dealer since early May and I have no idea when I'll be getting them. :(

These cans obliterate everything else in it's price range.  Not a fan of the pads though, probably because I'm spoiled by HD800's comfort. Put some HM5 pleather pads on them and I feel that these and the HD800 are the only pairs you'll ever need.

That sweeeeet bass. Took the HM5 pads off my TH-600s and put them on my TH-X00s. Heaven.
