  Thanks, sounds good! A lot of us have found that the Roxannes benefit from a lot from burn in, and a lot of it too. Do update us later on if you feel if there are significant changes to the SQ.

Actually I'm curious how the you feel the Universal Roxannes compare with the SE846, could you shed some light please? Based on Vlad's impressions early on (against customs), he thought the SE846 was better at first, but after burning in the Roxannes, he said the Roxannes are now far better than...

Lol. I got them translucent in yellow and purple, but on a transparency scale they seem more like 0.9 rather than 0.5. I can still see all the glue and tubes and **** inside if I look carefully though. Haven't really listened to them yet, burning them in. Yours should be here today, Al?

The customs fit perfectly; so snug and comfortable after I insert them, with a great seal. In retrospect I now think my LS8s are not that comfortable. Finish is great too, on the outside. The insides of my Roxannes seem like a mess though.

Please correct me if i'm wrong, but IMHO I don't think JH had intended for the volume to be changed while the bass response is altered. Rather, the user will start with 0 bass, raise the volume to a level where the user feels comfortable with the mids and treble, and then change the bass to suit...
