poject86, Yulong's description of the DA1 says it has a "high-power tube Class A amplification circuitry". Could you explain this? It does not use tubes it seems. I am not sure I want any tube sound added as I have always used solid state. I would appreciate any thing you could tell me about this.

A undermining fact of what I experienced is that now when I switch the phase inverter on and off I hear no difference, only during the first switching on and off. The dac sounds clear and full now though whether on or off.

I have been looking at a tube amp that does not have balanced inputs. The Yggy is supposedly best with balanced out. How much would be lost, if any, using a Xlr to rca cable? Should only an amp with balanced in be considered?
