So, I took mine apart and forgot to label the left and right. I see that one cup has blue and white wires and the other has blue and red. Anyone know which is which? Maybe a dumb question, but thought I would ask just the same!- ndurantz

I came across this little number today and think it fits my needs perfectly. I currently have the following set-up: Mac Mini ==> NuForce Icon ==> Orb Mod 1s w/ Mirage Omni 8 Sub. For some time, I have wanted to move in the direction of taking advantage of hi-res downloads and the NuForce...- ndurantz

Earbud buyer's guide, feat. TM5, OK1, PK1, ATH-CM700, OK2, K319, OK3, PK3, PK2
Just got my OK2's. (Upgrade from OK3's - tried to quote from earlier in the thread, but couldn't get it to work). Think they sound great after a first listen. However, despite what you said about bass, I feel them to be pretty puchy in the bass, almost a bit too much at times. Is this maybe a...- ndurantz

Quote: I appreciate the input, but what exactly are you meaning using the term "upgrade?" In relation to the OK3's, I presume, but not over the OK2's? Also, have you compared the OK2's (or the OK3's) with the MX 880's? If not, I am wondering on what basis (other than personal...- ndurantz

Looking for a little more guidance from some of you more seasoned earphone users. I have been enjoying the OK3's with my iPod 4th Gen. Nano. I like their reproduction of more stripped down music (She & Him, singer/songwriter stuff), but they seem veiled/suffer with rock music (White Stripes...- ndurantz

Phaiton PS210 - Anyone tried?
Do you think these would be something that may meet my quest? I like my OK3s for the warmth and sound signature, but like the speed an clarity of my hf5s. I don't want an IEM b/c I will use them mostly at work. Thoughts?- ndurantz

Phaiton PS210 - Anyone tried?
Read an article by Steve Guttenberg today and thought these sounded interesting. Anyone have an experience with these? Phaiton PS210 - http://www.phiaton.com/Fulfillment/P...asp?prod=60520 I was looking for something "in-between" earbuds (have Yuin OK3s) and IEM (have Ety hf5s) and these...- ndurantz

Yuin OK Series appreciation thread
I believe the statement I made about the OK3's being my "favorites" to be true, but have to say that after listening to The White Stripes "Get Behind Me Satan" today from my iPod (192kps, VBR), the OK3's are a little lacking in the speed and clarity for such music. I plugged in my Ety HF5 and...- ndurantz

Opinions: Compare earbuds to IEMs?
This is a little off topic, but if I was trying to achieve the sound signature stated above in a pair of traditional cans, what would someone suggest? I was thinking rather than investing in another canal phone (that I only wear when mowing or on airplanes), I could get a traditional phone for...- ndurantz
