The NEW JVC HA-S400. Affordable Carbon Nanotube cans for the masses.
Sorry to bump up an old thread (didn't want to start a new one), but how is the clamping force on these? I need a tight earpad headphone for gym duty. It pretty much just needs to stay on my head on a treadmill. My other considerations were porta(sporta)pro or the sennheiser behind the neck...- muckluck

Where's the detail?
Well I was once a head-fi addict and since "upgraded" to speakers. My setup is ALC889A onboard optical out -> HK3490 -> a pair of Infinity Beta 20s. The ALC889A can output 24/192 so I assumed it was decent and also assumed optical out is optical out. But it never sounded right. It just sounded...- muckluck

Bulletproof?
These really aren't meant for being portable, so size is not an issue. They are just going to be thrown in bags and such so I'm just looking for something that can survive being on the backseat of my car or in a bag. I guess foldable is a plus. Any opinion on Ultrasone? I really want to try the...- muckluck

Jesus christ the HD-150s have got to be the ugliest headphones I have ever seen. Worse than floats.- muckluck

Are the HD-25s comfortable? How about the difference between the HP-25-1 and HP-25-SP?- muckluck

Bulletproof?
Hey guys, I need durable over the head headphones that aren't expensive. That's pretty much it. I prefer everything to be tight. My favorite setup that I've ever heard was my SA3000 hooked up to my Little Dot. My problem is I have no idea where to start. Headphones always seem to break...- muckluck

ER6i vs im716 vs im616
hmm, I can use a soldering iron. Not scared of that. Don't want to use an amp though, so I guess I'll stick with the er6is. Less hassel, and I assume they sound pretty good. How's the PRAT though, people said they are anaylitical so I assume they are fast cans?- muckluck

Throw the UE Super.fi 3s in there too. Replaceable cable = pretty good idea for on the go headphones.- muckluck

ER6i vs im716 vs im616
I feel cheated.. I got excited when I saw the ER6is on Amazon for only 60$, and so I ordered them right away. However, I forgot about the im716s and looked them up and they are 60$ too. Now, which is the better buy? I read that the im716 is 90% of the ER4, and I assume that makes it better than...- muckluck
