Well my last RE-0 80 dollar headphones died ( the plastic coating broke and wiring just f'd up) I need something with great bass, sound, and noise isolation(much needed at the gym!) and something very durable.... I don't want it to break after just a few months of use :(   Oh and...

Nah it's not converted, this is pretty strange.  I just tested out on 2 other pairs of headphones and I'm getting the same thing so I know it's not the headphones.  It could be the ipod or the song... or my ear even.

anybody?   basically what i'm trying to say is the song is separating certain beats into each side of the headphone....

Is there a way to make songs have a balance on both sides of the headphones?  I'm not talking about the headphones being damaged or anything but certain songs like to have vocals on one side and instrumentals on the other, its annoying.  I want a complete surround sound effect.

The bass is fine( although I got a fiio e5 attached) even without the amp its still great.

My ipod has everything from metal, hiphop, rap, classical, rock.  The sound isolation is pretty good, didn't hear my phone or what people say.  Although I hear the TV for some reason, that might be bad at the gym.

anyways  I went with the Head-Direct re0 because most people say the srh840 would not be good for working out.  My workouts mostly consist of slow moving heavy weight exercises, like bench press, deadlifts, squats etc.  Maybe i'll change back to the srh if more people post their opinions.

I went for the head-direct's re0 at 80 bucks.  It has the highest sound/isolation/build quality for its price range.
