Which fiio? my only experience is with fiio is fiio E5 but for this case i would say yes :) but "better" is all about what you will do with the amp and what you intend to use it for :)- MLTR

Advice on new portable closed back cans around 200$
After your post i was reading a bit about those cans and it seemed like they were sennheiser type warm laid back sound. im looking for something clean, detailed, balanced with kinda flat frequency response. Thx for the suggestion PS i really will buy some headphones... my Maximo iMetal 590...- MLTR

Is FiiO E5 any good for my Grado/ PX100 / iM590
Update I just opted for solution 2 of my previous post. I rarely used the FiiO E5 because i felt it didnt bring much apart volume and decrease in SQ. I ordered a PA2V2 from Gary (nice lad btw) and I intend to couple it with Senn HD 25-1-ii as my portable rig- MLTR
