[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret

The SBH20 has MH750 speakers that are different than MH1 , at least the diameter and the housing are larger. I suspect that at MH1 what happens is kinda  related to driver flex. I have the MH750 with the MW600 bluetooth and never had any problems. The biggest advantage of our headsets is that...

[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret

Well, yesterday they played perfectly for the whole day on my laptop or my phone. For what they cost, I could just buy a new pair or get used to this behaviour. Damn, they worth every penny for that bass, I almost prefer them over the much expensier Monster Turbine Pro Copper! But I really hate...

[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret

And the voodoo continues: this morning I played music on my MH1c  for 4 hours on my laptop in perfect condition and when I went out for lunch after 30 minutes connected on my Xperia T phone the rigt channel faded out again. Now I remember that happened before at my phone, but never in my laptop...

[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret

No,I did not modify them. And also I can't tell that I used them at high volumes. Only once I tested them with Fiio e07k but they worked ok after that.

[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret

After 2 months of perfect function , the right side speaker is playing at half volume than the left side. Strangely, if I let the MH1 unused for a day for a while I hear again both sides at the same volume for 15-30 minutes , until the right speaker again loses volume.

    Audio-Technica ATH-PRO700 MK2 VS. Beyer Dynamic DT 770 PRO-80: Sub 200 Bass king

Now I have them both, after I bought the DT770. My  first impression was that DT770 has too much treble, but after 2 months I enjoy them more because of the detail that the treble adds (possibly the mids too). Comparing to ATH-Pro700 they are much open, bright and at low and moderate volume the...

    Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80-Ohm Thread

I didn't expect that 80 ohm vs 64 ohm (ATH-Pro700 are nowadays 64 ohm, not 32 ohm as they use to be) would matter so much connected to an E07K that suppose to drive well till 150 ohms ! My guess is that ohms combined with SPL will give that low volume.

    Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80-Ohm Thread

A friend of mine just wants to sell his used (but in excellent condition - 6 months old)) Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80 ohms for a half of the new price. I have tested them for 5 days against my 3 months old Audio-Technica ATH-Pro700 MK2 64 ohms connected on Fiio E07K and I cannot decide if I want...

is there a reason my Audio Technica ATH-PRO700MK2 is 68ohm?

Why didn't I think about this till now? I measured them with a good Fluke multimeter and it shows 61-65 ohms, I guess the variations are coming  from the contact points accuracy. So, the answer is 68 ohms. I am still curious about the commercial truth, since there might be some people that buy...

Good ~$200 Amps for the HiFiman HE-400's?

Would a Fiio E07k alone connected to a laptop feed ok the HE-400 ?

is there a reason my Audio Technica ATH-PRO700MK2 is 68ohm?

One sign about being harder to drive was when I connected them to the phone(Xperia T), at max volume they sounded a little distorted, but not in a bloated way like my former Sennheiser HD212Pro. One step down on volume and all was ok, but my Monster Turbine Pro Copper (16-32 ohms I guess...)...

is there a reason my Audio Technica ATH-PRO700MK2 is 68ohm?

My problem is not if they are genuine, but more like how does this affect the advertised sound since I did buy them only based on what I read from others and I do not have another 38 ohm version to compare. I mean, I would like to hear about the 68 ohms version that it retains all that quality...

is there a reason my Audio Technica ATH-PRO700MK2 is 68ohm?

I also received today an ATH-Pro700MK2 with a 68 ohm sticker over the original 38 ohm package imprint , but the 68 ohm is also written(not overwrite or sticker) on the Instructions/Specs paper included in the package. I don't know if I must be worried since there is no official 68 ohm version on...
