Most of time I will listen music from my laptop computer. Currently most of music files are MP3 (320K) I will get more flac (24/96). Budget is around $300 but prefer the cheaper one if the sound quality is good. Not sure the difference between open and close, I will use it in the office most of...- laojianke

I plan to buy my first pair of good headphones this year. I listen most of classical music (symphony most of time) and easy music. I don't want to spend too much on it but can reach $300. Not sure if HD 449, 518, 598 or AKG K518. Thanks for help.- laojianke

Best dac/amp under $75
I have the same questions. Also as I know most of today music files are MP3 can we benefit with 24bit/96KHz decoding? Even CDs are 16bit/44.1K. Do we need some special music format to get advantage of such DAC/Amp? If so, where we can get such music files?- laojianke
