    Shure SRH440 vs. ATH M50

    At first the bass on the srh440 seemed less than I wanted but after a  while i got used to it.then when i got back to the xb500,m50 and q40 my head started to hurt after 3 minutes at half volume lol so ima have to side with shure on this one.

    sound quality=great with more detail than the m50 and q40 i owned by a noticeable margin.(they still sound pretty good though considering the EQ settings they have by default. the srh840 pads give it a whole different sound.ill stick to the 440 pads because the pads seem to give all headphones...

    thats what i thought too,but nope.some headphones bust on 25% volume if you boost the bass using the knob at the bottom of playerpro instead of the 5-band equalizer,enna e yanja dude :p

    Heh,enna e yanja dude.of course i wanna know the limit of these things.everyone says these benefit from an amp,but the xb500 like i stated earlier blew out on a software equalizer called playerpro on android.and plan on IMPROVING THE SOUND of these headphones if i ever get those :p

    xb1000 q40 beats by dre pro m50 pro700mk2 dt770 x10 HD650   How much "mW" voltage things can these take?ive heard that 1500mW is too much for the q40,any amps too powerful for any of these headphones?

    Best alternatives to stock Headphone cables for an novice studiophile?

    i saw a low of posts saying the m-audio and m50 have weak cables and some guys said they replaced their **** 3-5 times in forums etc.its not really a big deal but i should get some others just in case.
