So let me get this straight. The X1 is more for those with IEMs? Will others who don't use those need an amp? (headphones) Sorry, I just don't understand all of these technical terms that everyone uses. >.<- joseisanewb012

You said that you might not even need an E12/amp because of the output. Would that me the case here...- joseisanewb012

New to the Portable Gear, and need some help..
Hey Headfi! I have been recently looking into music sources, and figured if I should go portable or desktop. Something better than the LPs
I never thought about budget headphones because I would always get suspicious about them and their prices. I was planning on getting the K167s, but I have seen reviews that state that the comfort level on them is not that great. That is one thing I am really worried about. Thanks for the...- joseisanewb012

Honestly, I hardly ever use my headgear out in public. I am leaning more towards home use headphones. How is the comfort on the HFI-580s?- joseisanewb012

I used to be in it for style, but now I just want the sound. Style doesn't matter to me much as does great sound quality. I will look into the Beyerdynamics! Thanks!- joseisanewb012

Anything out there in the 150+ dollar region that blow these things (Vmoda crossfade lps) out of the water? Looking for something great for Electronic Music (Makina, Freeform, etc) Over ear. These were fun for a bit, but now they aren't so special. Home or Portable, it doesn't really matter...- joseisanewb012
