FiiO e7 vs. Headroom Total Bit
Quote: This is what I'm wondering. A lot people call the E7 overrated or even "good for noobs only" as someone said in another thread. But I wonder how many of those guys are running a set-up that is 3x the price or more. If I paid close to $1000 for a DAC + Amp set up, yea I'd...- jedipastor

Review: Fiio E7
(noob alert!) I'm planning to get a pair of Sennheiser HD 598s this month, and am considering this FiiO E7 to compliment them. Right now I have no DAC or Amp, so this will be my first. I'll be running it out of my iPod Touch (4th gen) sometimes, sometimes my Macbook Pro, and sometimes my...- jedipastor

Need to run dual headphones
Hey gang! I'm kind of a noob, so pardon my ignorance here. My wife and I like watching tv/movies after the kids are in bed. But we prefer to do it with headphones to keep the noise to a minimum. But my stereo (Pioneer Elite, 2009 model) has only ONE headphone out jack. Right now...- jedipastor

Need adapter and extention cord for Audio Technica ATH-AD700
Hey gang. I just bought my first set of "real" cans. Decided to go cheap based on recomendations here, so I got the Audio Technica ATH-AD700 Open-air Dynamic Audiophile Headphones. I love them with my laptop and iPod, but am having issues related to my stereo. 1) I lost the threaded...- jedipastor

Denon D2000, Amazon
Seriously? I thought I had been checking every day. Wow. Yea, I'll wait until they drop again then. I don't mind buying used, but I like to know the source (even if it's from a forum) rather than Amazon Marketplace or ebay or something. Quote:- jedipastor

Denon D2000, Amazon
These are $232 right now on Amazon ... do these often go lower than this? Being that it's Christmas, do you think I should wait to see if they go lower? They're for me (a birthday present from my wife), so I can wait. Thanks!- jedipastor

My Pioneer SE-DIR800 sound great for wireless phones, imvho, the best I've heard. Dolby Headphone ia awesome. They are fragile, though--had to glue mine twice.- jedipastor

Denon D5000 vs D2000 vs D1100....vs Bose On-Ear. A humble review enclosed.
This review is ideal for me as I'm looking at these 3 headphones in particular, so thanks! Can anyone comment (or even speculate) on how these 3 Denons stack up in terms of home theater use? In particular, sourced from a computer or PS3 (movies and games). Thanks!- jedipastor
