Sry for the random question but am I right that the moon audio black dragon cable with 3 pole 1/8" mini termination for hifiman should work for the ak240 output to the chord hugo coaxial input?

Saw these at a shop in the Hong Kong international airport priced at 39800* hkd. Even more expensive than stax Lol. They probably only have 1 set though. Didn't have the time to listen to it though...

How is that so? Isit because the cables are too overpriced for the performance they give? I have seen positive reviews about the balancing cables though.

Well I thought the wait wouldn't be that long. I'm expecting like 5-6 months max o.o But if I have to wait to get better sound then I'm more than willing to do so. If that's the case, what suggestions do you have for the dac? I'm expecting to spend around $4-5k SGD which is around $4k+ish...

Can't really comment on steelseries headphones but from my experience of "gaming headsets" for example my $70 plantronics headphone (which I still have), soundstage seems to be smaller and SQ also inferior to real audiophile headphones. Heard the razer tiamat 7.1 b4 and it sounds way too...
