I have been trying that combo and V222 and Bifrost 2/64 is a magical pair — highly recommended.

The V222 is the same size as the little Schiit Bifrost2/64. Its size is one of its many pluses.

Well, I'm not sure how much sharper the bass needs to be on the 660S2 with balanced connection, but no, I have not and how would you do that without crapping up the headphones?

Agreed: Violectric sells the V222 on Amazon for $1,600. Power Holdings in New Jersey has it currently for $1,300. The Drop price was $940 and change.

I've written directly to Violectric asking for their explanation and will share whatever they respond. Meanwhile, I have a nice spot on my desk plus some new cables awaiting my V222.

I'm not happy with the delay or Drop's lack of information. But I'm still eagerly awaiting my sweet V222 at a price that's too good to pass up.
