CHORD ELECTRONICS DAVE
I would say that the Cera Disc's are just below the stillpoints ultra mini in performance, clearing up all the frequencies a nice bit, everything is just purer and cleaner sounding, but a lot cheaper, so if your on a budget and can't afford the Stillpoints Ultra Mini's, then the Cera Disc's...- Harty

CHORD ELECTRONICS DAVE
Hi Geoff, I prefer the Cera-Discs due to them being a bit more stable, the stillpoints dissipate energy, but they're very pricey, so some of the ones mentioned in this thread might be a cheaper alternative to the stillpoints. Best wishes, Paul.- Harty

Loose Sennheiser HD 800 Connectors
Hi UrsaUrsulas, This problem seems to be the female socket on the HD800 being slightly loose. UHU Whitetack holds the connector in place, only put it on the outside of the hd800 connector where it joins the socket, it will keep them both together. You could also try teflon tape instead, which...- Harty

Fitting New Sennheiser HD800 Replacement Earpads
Hi Majid, You must have the newer pads that measure 25mm across the middle of the D part, these will fit without stretching the membrane (as I've explained above), the older pads that are still in circulation until stock runs out I presume still require stretching to fit, always try...- Harty

New HD 800 very different than the old HD 800
I wouldn't recommend using an hair dryer, I would think it might shrink the plastic membrane and earpad. My method only takes a couple of minutes for each earpad. Best wishes, Paul.- Harty

New HD 800 very different than the old HD 800
I've included pictures of my old HD800 Earpads which fit back into the HD800 perfectly, and a picture of the new HD800 Earpads, the new HD800 Earpads plastic white-ish coloured membrane is too tight to fit on to the HD800's, as explained in my earlier post. Sennheiser are aware of this...- Harty

Fitting New Sennheiser HD800 Replacement Earpads
I've finally found a solution to fitting the new HD 800 replacement Ear Pads. A lot of people can't get the HD800 Ear Pads to lock onto the HD800 frame, this is because the white plastic membrane is too tight around the new replacement HD800 Ear Pads D frame. Only do this below if you...- Harty
