Post A Photograph Of Your Turntable
Reading comprehension problems? Maybe you should re-read the article because not once does the author mention that "he does not know anything about turntables" and the friends that he had "help" him simply brought over a couple of different cartridges mounted to headshells and the classic...- fullnine

The author of that article is Steve Guttenberg and he's been around the audio block a few times, and has been writing about audio for at least 15 years. He's written articles regarding high end audio for multiple publications and websites including Listener, Stereophile, Inner Fidelity, Sound...- fullnine

Sony's New 2014 flagship IEM - XBA Z5
Yup. They seem to work fine and volume levels are not a problem. I rarely listen any higher than the mid 50s ( on a volume scale of 1-70). I haven't tried them with a dedicated amp yet but will probably try that in the new year. I know. I should be ashamed.- fullnine

Sony's New 2014 flagship IEM - XBA Z5
Just picked up a set last week. I don't have much IEM experience, but so far these are competitive with any of my full sized cans.- fullnine

Looking for in-ear monitors with a "quiet" signal cord...
Hello All, I'm somewhat of a newb with IEMs. I've got a set of Klipsch S4ii that I like well enough except that that the signal cord is microphonic to the extreme. Any kind of movement results in intrusive noise in all but the loudest listening sessions. I like the tonal balance of the...- fullnine

I really like the 3D arm but I wouldn't call it great value. It works great with some carts and when it's a good match the results are epic. But I have at least one cartridge which sounds better mounted on a stainless steel armwand, at half the price of the 3D.- fullnine

Sweet setup. Really should get a better camera though! Ive got a VPI too and I notice you are using Bob's Devices 1131 SUT. I've got one too and couldn't be happier.- fullnine

The Astell & Kern AK120
Did a quick lazyman's search and didn't find anything so here's my question. I just got an AK120, and I'm uploading music as I type. I don't want to be tied to my laptop all the time to charge the unit so does anybody know the specs for a power supply / charger for the 120? Thanks in advance...- fullnine

Astel & Kern new hi-fi tube amp and speakers..
Not yet, but based on the price direction of their portables, I'd guess at least $5Gs for the amp, maybe more. Maybe a lot more.- fullnine
