    Grado cartridges ... should I?

I am currently looking at the line of Grado cartridges as well and was wondering if anyone had input on the Grado Reference Master. I have heard they have a wonderful midrange, but how do they handle bass/highs? I know Grado are well known for being the headphone for rock, but I am interested to...

New newb guy looking for suggestions!

I liked the sound of the SR-80's I tried a while back. They sounded pretty good for the price, but by all means they don't touch the 225's at all. It really depends on how far down the Grado rabbit hole you want to venture!

    Life span of Cartridge/Table?

Well Head-fi...I took the plunge and purchased a turn table off of Audiogon today. I've had a collection of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and all the classics that I acquired a while ago and I couldn't stand listening to CD's of them when the real deal was just sitting there I had a few...

    Best headphone setup for Macs

Well...naturally you could get the the AKG 701's because they are nice and clean and white. They have that "ipod" look to them, and they sound incredible. Actually, I primarily use my PC for listening to music, but throwing an EMU 0404 into my mac would be great because I doubt you will need any...

    Soundcard for Gaming, and Music?

Does anyone know of an online retailer that has the Prelude actually in stock? Newegg has been out of stock for quite a while and all the other places I have checked are as well.

    Sub-$200 gaming

I got a pair of Audio Technica a900's, and I am extremely pleased in their performance in gaming. I have tried my friends beyer 770's and I personally think the soundstage on the a900's are more accurate, and bigger. The only reason I would recommend the Beyers over the AT's would be if you are...

Please dont bankrupt me, starter here

I just checked Newegg and it looks like they pulled it off their site. Also, I second the vote that at least the 580/600's are poor for gaming. I tried some out the other day with a well driven amp and I was not impressed as far as gaming goes. I too am trying to decide between the 595's and...
