For a great sounding, comfortable set of over-the-ear phones, I would suggest the Sony MDR-ZX700. If you are a basshead, they won't fit you well. Otherwise, they are great. You can buy the pair I got as a gift here...

Just to update, I started noticing distortion on the Turtle Beach so I returned it and got a HRT Music Streamer II. Significantly more expensive but definitely worth it. Night and day difference.

Got my MSII a few days ago. One of the best investments I have ever made. Dramatically changed  my computer's output sound quality. Clarity, details, bass punch, and mids all significantly improved.  Plus, I've not had any problems driving my HD595s using just the MSII through a RCA to 3.5mm...
