According to the Apple website, the latest models of both the Macbook and the Macbook Pro have optical in and optical out.

It appears to me that a change in the gain switch has a more pronounced effect if the D-10 is powered off first.

    Pro-750 earcup comfort

OK. I have stretched the head band as recommended by ultrapaul. Testing is underway. I still don't like the sensation of my ears being tucked under the silver pads. I do appreciate your efforts to help me find comfort here. I really want these phones to work for me. BTW, I notice...

    PK3/OK3/PK2

I don't have the OK-3 or PK-3, so I can't speak to the SQ. IIRC, the OK line has a longer warranty period, 1 year vs 90 days. Listening to OK-2 from D-10, atm. To my ears, ranking the SQ, PK-1>OK-2>PK-2.

Does anyone have the iPhone LOD pinout?

Is anyone in the DIY community building / selling LODs incorporating this research? I have several LODs which work with my older iPods. I would like to be able to use iPhone 3G with pocket amp, without annoying messages. I can do this with the Apple iPhone dock, but it is a bit cumbersome in...

I am still seeing the "out of stock" message on the iBasso website. Any information on when this will change?

My pinnae do not like to be folded or compressed (or spindled or stapled).

    Pro-750 earcup comfort

The other post was about the headband clamping force. My issue is about the size of the earcups. If I recall, the photos I have seen of the Edition 9 show oval earcups, like my Senns. I don't suppose that the Edition 9 earcups would be usable on the Pro-750s.

    Pro-750 earcup comfort

I feel like I need larger earcups. My ears just won't fit inside unless I fold them. Otherwise, the cans end up sitting outside of either my earlobes or the rear part of my ear, like the Bose on-ear phones. In either case, after an hour, I have a headache. Love the SQ. I know it will only...

Looking for headset w/mic strictly for gaming

I have the Logitech gaming headset (about $50, very uncomfortable), a Microsoft VOIP headset (much better, only cost $30, good in-line controls, worked out-of-the box with my Mac), and a top-end Sennheiser (best audio quality, best noise-cancelling, about $140). Check out B&H Photo Video. I...

How does the Leckerton UHA-3 stack up?

Since my musical tastes run to Baroque, the frequency profile of the UHA-3 is just right for me. It also works well for World of Warcraft audio. P. S. After a good night's rest, the D-2 is feeling better today.
