I do love immersion, which is why I have an ultrawide monitor. With that being said, do you feel as though the X2 would be an upgrade to the MMX300 or more of a sidegrade? Also, thise Aeolus are gorgeous, wow.

So if you could buy one pair of headphones today for immersive gaming, which would you cop? The 4XX? Edit: I figure if I've always loved the DT770s, why don't I stick with what I love? I might cop the 177x.

Wow, monoprice headphones I had no idea these were a thing. And planar magnetics too? How hard are they to drive? Also, do you have any experience with Massdrop's offerings? They have some really good deals going on right now, so if you recommend any of them I'd probably pull the trigger.

Interesting. Are they "fun" like the beyerdynamics? Cinematic games like Battlefield are a blast to play with them, and they're still good enough to give me an advantage when I need to hear footsteps etc. I'm also pretty sensitive to treble, should I steer clear?

Hey guys,   Has creative completely replaced CMSS-3D with SBX? I've tried Dolby Headphone, SBX, CMSS-3D, Razer surround, and nothing comes close to CMSS-3D (in my opinion). Are there still cards in production that use this technology? 

So I went ahead an ordered the Xonar U7. Arrived yesterday. I wanted to give you guys an honest mini-review.   The first thing I noticed was that the Dolby positional audio was really... lackluster. Everything sounds like I'm in a room. It completely amplifies the wrong sounds in my opinion...

Hey guys,    I almost pulled a trigger on the Xonar U7 until I heard about the Echelon. Does anyone own it, and would they recommend it over the standard U7? Also, why does it seem impossible to find in the US?
