People With Customs-Do You Also Use Universals, Or Do You Use Your Customs For Everything?
I use my customs almost all of the time. I find them extremely more comfortable then universals now. I also have found them to be very easy to take in and out (especially compared to foam). It's all about rotation. lately I have been using full size cans at work though.- DKaz

Upgrade from Denon d2000 to d7000 or he-500?
Quote: Try reading my whole post including what the OP asked. He stated that he heard the Denon's leaked and asked if the Hifiman leaked more. I think my post pretty much answered that. The Denon's leak is minimal compared to the Hifiman. Hence why I stated "I owned the HE-300 and it...- DKaz

Upgrade from Denon d2000 to d7000 or he-500?
Quote: I don't know about the HE-500 since the planar has a little more meat in the cup, but I owned the HE-300 and it leaked a LOT more then my Denon D2000. I mean a LOT. I use the D200 in a cube environment and I haven't heard any complaints. So although they do leak a little, it's...- DKaz

About to Purchase Denon AHD2000's
Get a Fiio e17. Its apparently even better then the e10's quality dac, but still has all the portable features of the e7. Thus you can use it as a quality dac/amp at home, and as a good amp on the go with a DAP. Get an LOD too.- DKaz

Good full-sized closed cans for work that don't have wood cups...
I just bought the D2000 for work as well. Another pair I was looking at was the Fisher Audio FA-003, whihc is also considered the Brainwavz HM5. it is more neautral then the D2000 and less. I say buy another pair of D2000 and do the Lawton mods.- DKaz

Denon D2000 VS Denon D1100
I have the original D1001, which some say are better then the D1100 and some say are worse. That being said, I have not heard the new D1100. I just bought the D2000 and love them compared to the D1001. I haven't done a direct comparison yet since I need to fix the 3.5 plug on my D1001, but I...- DKaz

Vote the best silkscreen for E10 to show the bass boost
I thought the wording was odd myself when I first saw pictures of the e10, but I did immediately understand how the switch worked. I like option C though. I can understand what some are saying about bass being "off", but you could call it bass boost with either "on" or "off". Or you... -

1964 Ears
Quote: I almost agree. I too dislike the Trips and Clip+ combo, but I wouldn't call it really horrible. I was surprised though because I have always found the Clip+ to be such a clean great source for all of my other IEMs.- DKaz
