Upgrading portability. HIFIMAN 601 + IEM ?
NO! I currently have an SM3 and HM602 and It's the worst decision I have ever made, the resulting sound is too warm and too thick! The clip+ would be enough for the SM3, but on the other hand the HM602 is indeed organic sounding and very unique sounding though you should pair it with bright or...- daniel050489

Earsonics SM3 Appreciation Thread - Third Time is a Charm?
now that you mentioned it my SM3s sound a bit different since the return from RMA, I think the holes are bigger with the newer bi-flange tips but mine are loose and can get stuck to my ears when removing them. I think the treble improved a bit compared to when I had them last year. Also when I...- daniel050489

Earsonics SM3 Appreciation Thread - Third Time is a Charm?
My SM3's left woofer seems defective, using sinegen, I am sure I had a perfect seal as I used both stock biflange and comply tips but both yield the same results that the left's bass sounds muffled and silent compared to the tight and loud 20hz of the right one. Tested again using the...- daniel050489

Suggestions for Headphones/IEMs to use with HM602
I have a HM602 and Earsonics SM3 I think their synergy is not that good and the treble is veiled or so. Any suggestions to use with the HM602? I love how the SM3 sounds specially the bass, though a little more sparkle up there would be nice. Thanks.- daniel050489
