how many files can the 601 read? mine tops at 4095 mostly mp3 files btw...

I have a HM602 and Earsonics SM3 I think their synergy is not that good and the treble is veiled or so. Any suggestions to use with the HM602?  I love how the SM3 sounds specially the bass, though a little more sparkle up there would be nice. Thanks.
