It'd be my first review, but I'm totally up for it, seeing as how my old meelectronics m9s are pretty much dead.

I've heard good things about the Denon AH-D7000. But what else is out there? P.S. I'm doing a favor for my friend here who is apparently rich as hell and a total basshead. She was leaning towards the new Beats Spin by Dr. Dre so I figured I'd intervene before she gets totally ripped off.

AudioEngine A5s These make normal PC speakers sound like trash. Though I don't doubt that someone else will come along with a better product at the same price. There always is one of those. Oh, you want a sub, huh? No clue then, the A5s do bass well enough on their own, but not as much...

alright, all they have on the swan site is the m12 for 139 and some weird looking orb speakers for 79. anyone actually tried these?

Well, right now i've found logitech g51s going for 70 bucks, which is incredibly appealing at the moment. also kinda curious as to how http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/sp.../4713&cl=us,en those will turn out. it's not that i like logitech. i'm also interested in the "higher quality"...

oh, and i have no idea where to find the swans.
