Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Really surprised you think the build-quality is lesser than the QCs. The head-band is so much thicker than any thin sheet of aluminium I've seen from Bose. So I'm wondering how you reached that conclusion??- carlove

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
I used the ATH-M50x once. They might have a V-shaped sound, but the bass thump was too strong for me. Okish sound-stage. Full sound. The PX sound much more natural, maybe a little warm. If you listen to a song and can't hear the bass of the drumkit very well it means the artists didn't want you...- carlove

To me they're insanely loud. I usually turn the headphones up to 30-40% (depending on the song). I use an OnePlus 5T.- carlove

Sounds like battery failure to me. You will probably have to send it in for repairs.- carlove

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
I got my PXes plugged into my laptop as we speak. The high-pitched sound is gone. It's night and day, really. It's like an EQ is active on my phone. Maybe it's Apple Music. One more thing, though. I hear hissing in wired mode, does anyone know why this is? Even some cracking during music. Is...- carlove

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Will do. I bought it secondhand. But it came with a repairbill from one week ago. The seller stated that he got new cans from B&W. Seeing how the charger-cable still had the plastic on and how it still smells new, I think it hasn't been burned in yet. Hoping for the OnePlus being an ass, but...- carlove

It might just be me, but if I use my PX with the OnePlus 5T (wired and wireless), if I put the volume halfway up the high notes of any song start to hurt/slightly pierce my ears. Like the cans can't handle the high notes ( or my ears ). It sounds as if the music go over their pitch. I've...- carlove

Sony MDR-1000X
Could you tell me about the soundstage and overall tone of the 1000x? I found the Momentum Wireless to sound way too bass heavy for my taste. I like the sound-signature to have a flat-response, but the sound has to be superb, though. To what headphone can you compare these to? Thanks!- carlove

Denon AH-MM400
Yeah, from day 1 the mid-bass was too present to me. Not sure if you're referring to the same thing here. EDIT: but everything sounded wonderful after 30 hours in.- carlove

True, I loved everything but the bass when I first got them. But now I can't go without that particular bass, that just let's the rest of the instruments shine.- carlove

I was like 60 hours into the burn-in. Then I was stupid enough to send them in because the iOS-cable was broken.. Warranties are done superbly here in the Netherlands. Since they just swapped out the whole thing, a brand new headphone. But now I have to start from 0. Ah well, at least I...- carlove

SE530/535 Acoustic Filter Mod: More SQ improvement than cables? Dampers!
Sorry for the lack of information: Mouser, Digikey, and Alibaba are all asking for 16-20 bucks for just the shipping. But since google doesn't find any other companies that are selling it, I guess that there are no others then? Weird.. I can find a few Ebay sellers, but they're so cheap...- carlove

SE530/535 Acoustic Filter Mod: More SQ improvement than cables? Dampers!
Yeah Yeah, they're still making me pay 20 bucks. And now it's in Euros, which is even more expensive. They're stating they're positioned in my country (the Netherlands), but they're still shipping from some other planet. Though it states that they'll pay for customs, but the 7 euro they are...- carlove

Hi! Does anyone know where to get these filters when living in Europe? Mouser makes me pay 20 bucks for shipping... Outrageous. And I can't seem to find any other non-american site.- carlove
