Kinda dissapointed with my new Sony Walkman NWZ-S545
Finally, I reconsider my position and pulled the trigger for the P3. The reason is pretty simple: battery life is something I can´t live with (S:FLO2 lacks of that) and, on the other hand, I am not willing to wait months for a DAP. On top of that I really like Samsung sound signature (even...- brugalete

Kinda dissapointed with my new Sony Walkman NWZ-S545
Thank you Rip N Burn The P3 was always a top choice for me but since I already pulled the trigger (and missed the target once) I wouldn´t mind to get a real improvement. I know it does sound a little bit crazy and considering this mistake I shoud be more conservative but after the...- brugalete

Kinda dissapointed with my new Sony Walkman NWZ-S545
I´ve just bought a brand new sony S-545. My last DAP was a Samsung P2 that I´ve enjoyed the past 2 years. Previously I owned a Cowon D2 and a Iriver U10. For my testing I always used a pair of Westone UM-2 IEM´s. The thing is that I´m not really happy with the change. When my P2 "died"...- brugalete

Best isolation and bass in an IEM?
The UM-2 are armature dual driver and the Atrios are single dynamic driver. It may look like a hell of a difference. However, people seems to give them the same credit. They are both good sounding, they both have great bass (not muddy), they both provide a decent sound stage (for a pair of...- brugalete

Best isolation and bass in an IEM?
Isolation and great bass (mud-free)...that sounds like Westone UM-2 to me. I owned a pair of these jewels and they sound like magic. Good Bass and a perfect balanced sound. Too bad they are out your budget...you could save some money and apply for one the offers in ebay or in earphonesolutions...- brugalete

Mmmmm X-Mas is coming. New IEM's please.
If you feel Atrio´s M5 have too much bass for you, then, why don´t take a look at the WESTONE UM2. They provide a very tight bass if you find a good fit and EQ to enhance the low-end. Best separation I´ve ever heard in a pair of IEM and a huge soundstage...I am thrilled with my new pair.- brugalete

My Samsung YP-P2 mini review!
Are you talking about the hiss produced when navigating through menus??? If so, bear in mind it can be avoided by disabling the "beep sound" option in "sound setting option" preferences. For me the SQ of this DAP is very high with no hisses and very good at the low end but, perhaps, is not as...- brugalete

My Samsung YP-P2 mini review!
Hi, Vulpix and everyone!! What set up do you usually use for the 7 band-EQ? I am having a hard time to find an EQ on my P2 that sound good with most of music. I do not bother about the 3D Sound setting but I use the bass-enhancer with different outcomes. I also do not know what to...- brugalete

The Westone UM1/UM2 Appreciation Thread
Thank you guys. I might also try the shure kit fit...is always cheaper than going custom (well, that is what I think now, lets see in the near future). PS: This is offtopic. I´ve received the trifangles before my pair UM2 (ultra fast shipping) and I pretended to try them in my old senn´s...- brugalete

Thank you, hockey magnet. I guess it is just a matter of triying with different tips, How do I know the perfect size for me? As far as I know there is no variety pack available for the black olives.
