HI! The couplers with preamp are between 400 to 1000 USD each. Depending on whether you buy it individually or with a system. It is totally unnecessary for hobby/diy use. To combine drivers into one tube. The most common method is to use a thicker 2.5mm ID tubing and stretch is gently to fit...

It is a high frequency driver. SWFK is a tweeter/supertweeter, you will always highpass it. The long tubing is an attempt to correct phase shift caused by a high pass filter.

Silicone IEMs use silicone tubing instead of PVC tubing of acrylic iems. This is because nothing can really bond/glue well to silicone, except silicone. Because the shell and tube materials are the same, a silicone iem can appear as if it didnt have tubing, just bores drilled into the material.

He ships directly via courier. You will pay your countrys import tax, like you do with all things that you purchase. As well as broker fees if you want FedEx to clear it for you. But this is the case with any ciem company.

Basically what ForceMajeure said. If the driver inside is vented, do not cut as the dust can get into the holes. Use a small to medium size pliers. Put it over the ear canal part and carefully crush/break it, don't use much force it is very easy to crush that section (assuming it has more than...

Use Wax to make a negative mold of the impression. Then make more ear impressions into the negative wax mold. Note that you will need to drill a small hole to vent out the ear canal. Also dont use the foam stopper. For your final negative mold, if you want a long lasting one you need silicone...

Out of my Mjolnir 2 balanced the SE5U definitely surpasses the lcd3f in imaging depth. I haven't heard the lcd3 pre fazor so I can't say for that. Being an iem vs open back headphone, you don't get the same open sound that you get with the LCDs on SE5U.

I would consider them endgame for sure, at least for now. But I have not heard the super expensive 64 audio new flagships. HD800 is not the same type of sound signature so it's hard to compare. It is more like an LCD 3f than an HD800, and I would choose SE5U over my LCD 3 fazor. HD800 is...

The Mojo is a very good pairing with SE5U. Got the Mojo after using the Sony zx2 for awhile, not much improvement, a bit less bass but more air and not as dry sounding in the highs. Onkyo X1 in balanced was a little bit too warm for me. My Yggdrasil is getting upgraded at the moment so i will...

Well, assuming you are applying the crossover for both highpass and low pass. Then the total phase shift is 90 degrees at fc. High pass will be +90 deg at DC, +45 deg at the crossover frequency, and 0 deg at high frequency. Low pass is 0 deg at DC, - 45 deg at crossover frequency, and - 90 deg...

You don't. Not perfectly anyhow. You are right, speed of sound propagation is more or less the same regardless of frequency. The delay we are dealing with is due to the crossover. It's called phase shift. You cannot build a crossover without a capacitor. Capacitors take time to charge, and...

Yea that's what I was describing a few posts up. It has like a shouty/megaphonic upper midrange.

Its not bright, no. It does lack sparkle but clarity wise i find it on par if not slightly better than my Zeus XIV Adel. So i wouldnt say it is lacking that in any way. Its treble just has a very natural sounding smoothness to it, without being rolled off or lacking in presence.

I have both A12 and SE5U. The SE5U, while having better extension and greater treble presence, is also smoother than the A12. I also find it better than the A12 in virtually every aspect, so it might be something worth considering.

If you get in contact and tell them you wish to return it before the 15 days then you'll be fine. I doubt they are picky about actually receiving it physically within 15 days.
